Questions.
For hiring managers and recruiters.
How does Canadian planning experience translate to the US?
The process is the same: discovery, cash flow, goals, risk, recommendations, review. Most Canadian accounts have a close U.S. counterpart, even where the tax rules differ.
KYC, suitability and audit-ready files carry straight over. I'm pursuing U.S. certification through CFP Board's Accelerated Path.
What roles are you exploring?
Salaried planning roles on a team, such as financial planning analyst, associate planner or wealth planning associate, at banks, investment firms and RIAs in Houston or remote.
What's your planning philosophy?
Start with the household, then the money. Put the plan in order so people know what to do first, and review it every year or when life changes.
Do you work with clients in Punjabi and Hindi?
